Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are vital to our work and our community. Project H.O.M.E. relies on the commitment and passion of volunteers in all of our sites and programs. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. Come discover how your unique skills and ideas can make a difference in the Project H.O.M.E. community.

Ready to Volunteer?

Step One : Complete the Volunteer Information Form! Click here.

Step Two : After you've completed your form, you will receive an invitation to attend a volunteer orientation and information about the dates of upcoming sessions. Sign up for a session that works with your schedule. Orientations are mandatory to volunteer at Project H.O.M.E. and provide information about our organization, types of volunteer opportunities, and procedures. They are held at 1515 Fairmount Ave. and last about an hour.

Step Three : Before you attend your volunteer orientation session, read through the Orientation Materials, located here. Print and sign the Waiver and Confidentiality agreement - you will need to bring this signed form with you to the Orientation.

Step Four : Attend Orientation. Don't forget your waiver!

Step Five : After the session, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to begin scheduling your service. We try to get you placed as quickly as possible, so you can expect to start within a couple of weeks. Volunteers must schedule all service times in advance, through the Volunteer Coordinator.

Step Six : Begin service. Make sure you sign in the Volunteer Log every time you enter a Project H.O.M.E. site.

If you have any questions, please contact Carly Ianuzzi, Volunteer Coordinator, at cianuzzi@projecthome.org or 215-232-7272 x3015.
