Advocacy and Public Policy

Project HOME's Advocacy & Public Policy Department seeks to ensure that all members of our community have a voice, especially people who are living in poverty, in recovery, and/or have challenges with mental health. We achieve this through leadership development and empowerment activities which engage members of our community in speaking out on the issues affecting homeless and poor persons, and acting to bring about change.

We work with a variety of coalitions on city, state, and national levels to impact public policies, educate elected officials, maximize resources for housing and services, and advocate for human and civil rights for persons who are poor, homeless, and/or disabled.
