Director of Residential and Homeless Programs
The Director of Residential and Homeless Programs is responsible for the leadership and operations of all residential programs and services to people who are homeless or formerly homeless. This includes 418 units of supportive and affordable housing (11 locations), street outreach services/coordination of external outreach teams to people who are living on the streets, occupational services (supported employment and education), and Project H.O.M.E.'s two social enterprise businesses. Specific responsibilities will include working closely with the Vice President of Operations in day-to-day operations including providing advice and assistance, as necessary; directly supervise the Associate Directors, the Outcomes Management Specialist, & the Managers of Occupational Services and the two businesses; oversee goal development and outcome attainment for residential and homeless programs related to the Strategic Plan and external funder requirements; provide leadership in program evaluation and development as well as identifying and developing new programs and services; oversight of program and capital budgets; and to develop and maintain relationships with external funders and key partners. Qualified candidates must have a Masters in Social Work or a related field; a minimum of ten (10) years progressively responsible experience, this experience must include a minimum of five (5) years in the human services field including residential experience and a minimum five (5) years administrative and management experience; strong organizational & administrative skills; excellent verbal & written communication skills; strong financial analysis skills; and strong computer skills (MicroSoft Office, specifically Word & Excel).
