Art Program

The open studio art classes at Project H.O.M.E. are conducted in a workshop format and are held three times weekly, at three locations. Although mainly for residents of Project H.O.M.E., neighborhood participation in our class located at 1515 Fairmount Avenue is welcome. The art programs at Project H.O.M.E. offer members of the community the opportunity to express themselves artistically and to interact with others in a creative spirit.

Current Workshop Schedule:

  • Mondays 3:00 PM in the Backspace @ 1515 Fairmount—Open to All
  • Tuesdays 3:00 PM at Kairos House—Open to Project H.O.M.E. Residents Only
  • Thursdays 6:00 PM at Women of Change—Open to Project H.O.M.E. Residents Only
Project H.O.M.E. also has exhibit space in the Backspace at 1515 Fairmount Avenue adjacent to the Back Home Café and Catering and Our Daily Threads Thrift Shop. The artwork exhibited there is created in the Project H.O.M.E. art programs and available for sale. Project H.O.M.E. hosts several art exhibits and openings each year, with work by local and resident artists.

For more information on workshops, to inquire about the sale or schedule a private viewing of our artists' work, please contact Ilana Bergman, Art Coordinator at 215-232-6322.
