Project HOME’s individual and group volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year. These opportunities directly honor the volunteer program’s mission, which is to engage the community in our work through building capacity, broadening engagement, and bridging the gaps in our society to comprehensively support Project HOME in establishing concrete solutions to ending homelessness and poverty. Join us!

For six winters, the Hub of Hope has served as a walk-in engagement center located in the concourses under Two Penn Center in Suburban Station. Now, through a partnership between SEPTA, the City of Philadelphia, and Project HOME, the Hub of Hope will expand, moving into a permanent location in Suburban Station to offer year-round services.ix winters, the Hub of Hope has served as a walk-in engagement center located in the concourses under Two Penn Center in Suburban Station. Volunteers are needed at the Hub of Hope helping to greet, provide hospitality services, assist with laundry facilities and sort in-kind gift items. Click here to volunteer at the Hub of Hope.

Individuals and groups can give back to their community by providing and serving a meal at one of Project HOME’s residence sites throughout the city. The provision and service of a meal to formerly homeless men and women strengthens a sense of community and enhances our mission by highlighting the transformational power of building relationships. Residents love culinary complexities as much as pizza and cookies, so feel free to be creative or go with an old favorite!

Reservations are required to donate or serve a meal.   Click here to view and register for available meal service opportunities.
