Special Delivery to Governor-elect Tom Wolf

  • Reggie Young, Project HOME resident and Vote for Homes Volunteer, delivered signatures of supporters from across the Commonwealth to Governor-elect Tom Wolf.
  • Supporters from across the state signed the letter asking Governor-elect Wolf to uphold his commitments in the Vote for Homes Voter's Guide.
  • Over 750 people signed this letter to Governor-elect Tom Wolf.
Thank YOU for thanking Governor-elect Tom Wolf for his commitments to affordable housing, quality public services, and living wage jobs!
Over 750 people from across Pennsylvania signed a letter urging Governor-elect Tom Wolf to uphold his commitments in the Vote for Homes Voter's Guide for affordable housing, jobs, and services and to show leadership on these critical issues. Support for the State Housing Trust Fund and restoring General Assistance will make a critical difference in our communities
These signatures were delivered directly to Governor-elect Wolf in late December when he visited Project HOME and toured the brand-new Stephen Klein Wellness Center, Honickman Learning Center and Comcast Technology Labs, and JBJ Soul Homes. He met with staff, residents, and neighbors, while learning about our work in the community. Reggie Young, Vote for Homes Volunteer and Project HOME Advocacy Committee Member, gave him the signatures and spoke about the importance of the State Housing Trust Fund.
In addition to the issues in the Vote for Homes Voter's Guide, Project HOME also had a extensive dialogue about policies related to housing, healthcare, safety, and education that can have a positive impact on poverty and homelessness. We shared this policy summary with him and we encourage the transition teams to use this information to guide policy decisions in the coming months.
We look forward to working with Governor Wolf and his leadership team.
