Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Report

Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Report

Dear Project HOME Community,

As we reflect on the past fiscal year, we recall these powerful and beautiful words of Melody Beattie:

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

We all know it has been a hard year, and the way ahead for all of us at Project HOME – as well as for our society and world – is uncertain. In the past year, we have confronted unprecedented challenges – the continuing global pandemic, the persistence of racial injustice and violence, the worsening grip of poverty and addiction. We are continuing to work on strengthening our community and our capacity to meet those challenges. Each day, you bring your skills, your commitment, and your vision to the work of ending homelessness, upholding human dignity, and nurturing Beloved Community.

Through it all, we are grateful. And we bring a spirit of gratitude to our work, to all our challenges, our struggles, and our successes. And our gratitude plants the seeds of renewed commitment.

Thank you for all you do to turn our mission and values into reality each day.  We look forward to walking together with you in 2022.

With warmest gratitude,
