The corporate community is a key partner in our work to end and prevent street homelessness and alleviate poverty in Philadelphia.
Our Partners Have Impact
Project HOME is honored to have corporate partners, locally and globally, that help us empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Your partnership is a testament to your leadership and commitment to the success and dignity of all Philadelphians.
Many businesses and organizations like yours have joined Project HOME in our work. To see a full list of Project HOME donors and partners, check out our annual report.
Become a Corporate Partner
Interested in becoming a Corporate Partner? Contact Melanie Richter, Sr. Director of Development, to begin the conversation. All partnerships are customized to create the best experience possible for both Project HOME and the Corporate Partner.
Did you know that your company can help Project HOME while reducing its state tax burden? The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) provide companies with a 75 percent tax credit for one-time donations (and 90 percent for two-year commitments under EITC). These programs allow you to multiply your impact – and we can help you through the process!
Fulfill your company’s Corporate Giving Mission by making a gift specifically targeted at making a difference within your chosen area of impact. Project HOME’s wide range of programs includes supportive housing, medical care access, workforce development, social enterprise, education, youth programs, art program, advocacy, and nutritious food distribution. Together, we can make real progress toward our shared mission.
Project HOME events bring civic and business leaders from all over the city together in celebration of our mission. Show your support with an event sponsorship at the Hub of Hope Breakfast in the Fall or Bring Philly Home in the Spring. Sponsors are prominently featured at the event itself, and your participation makes you part of the larger conversation surrounding poverty and homelessness in Philadelphia.
Employee Giving Campaigns
By running an Employee Giving Campaign, you help to cultivate a culture of community and giving at your organization. Employers can set up an Employee Giving Campaign through United Way and employees will have a range of worthy charitable organizations to choose from. Project HOME is United Way Donor Choice #9843. We can connect you with your local representative to help you get set up. (For local government employees, Project HOME is Independent Charity #30-0011. For University of Pennsylvania employees, Project HOME is Penn’s Way Campaign-PHAC-C1011).
Federal organizations can encourage employees to donate to Project HOME through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which is a workplace giving campaign specifically targeting federal workers. To designate contributions to Project HOME, employees should use CFC ID #47688. CFC campaigns run between September 1 and December 15 each year.
Corporate Partners can be a part of the Project HOME community by participating in activities ranging from street cleanups to hygiene kit packing to holiday meal hosting, and more. Based on your goals, the size of your group, and your budget for the project, we can help you find the volunteer opportunity that is right for you.
