K-8 After School Program
The K-8 After School Program at the Honickman Learning Center Comcast Technology Labs provides high quality learning opportunities in a safe, nurturing and academically-rigorous environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The program runs daily from 3:00-6:00 pm throughout the school year. Summer programming is also available.
The After School Program focuses on supporting children in developing their academic skills and raising literacy levels. Literacy skills are enhanced through the use of award-winning web-based software programs such as Imagine Learning and Achieve 3000.
Children are able to learn essential 21st-century skills in our state-of-the-art SMARTLab by creating projects in robotics and coding, engineering, animation and other media arts.
Additionally, we offer students an opportunity to engage in other activities offered by program partners, such as yoga, hip-hop, or dance.
Our Spring 2022 offerings include African dance, culinary arts, and gardening.
