Give Your Closet a Second Life on National Secondhand Wardrobe Day
On Tuesday, August 25, HOMEspun Boutique is celebrating National Secondhand Wardrobe Day—a chance to give gently used clothing a meaningful second life. If you have clean, gently worn clothing, shoes, or accessories ready to leave your closet, we invite you to share them with Project HOME to help support the people we serve.
A donated jacket, pair of shoes, or interview-ready outfit can do more than reduce waste; it can help a neighbor feel prepared, supported, and cared for as they move through daily life, appointments, employment opportunities, and seasonal changes.
How to Donate
- Donate clean, gently-used clothing, shoes, or accessories
- Choose items you would feel comfortable giving to a friend or neighbor
- Drop off donations between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at HOMEspun Boutique, located at 1523 Fairmount Ave., Philadelphia, PA, 19130
