Make an impact on National Food Bank Day

National Food Bank Day

Friday, September 4th is National Food Bank Day, and we have a special opportunity to come together in service and make a meaningful difference for our neighbors. Volunteers are invited to support the Helen Brown Community Center Food Pantry as we help provide food, encouragement, and care to community members and families who rely on this vital resource.

Whether you can give a couple of hours or spend part of your afternoon with us, your presence matters. Every box packed, every item shared, and every warm welcome helps remind our neighbors that they are not alone.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to serve. We are truly grateful for the heart our volunteers bring to this work, the kindness you show, the time you give, and the care you extend to every neighbor who visits the pantry. Together, we can create a welcoming space where families feel seen, supported, and valued. We could not do this work without you.
